The latest news from ReMIX Hotel: discover the « Ville de demain » exhibition at the Cité des Sciences de La Villette

Just a stone’s throw from the ReMIX Hotel, the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie hosts a rich selection of permanent and temporary exhibitions, workshops, events and conferences. During the first week of November, the Cité’s Art et sciences residency will host the installation “La Pudeur des Mycètes” by the visual artist Marine Nouvel. Running from 20 September until 24 May 2024, the temporary exhibition “Foules” invites us to question ourselves about our individuality and our social nature. Finally, until 24 November, “Métamorphoses” invites children to take a playful look at their own evolution, to help them better grow up. This time we’ve chosen to focus on the “Ville de demain” exhibition, which runs until 9 January 2024. It will take you on a journey of exploration into the climatic and environmental challenges facing our city of tomorrow.

In partnership with the Solar Impulse Foundation, the “Ville de demain” exhibition takes visitors on a playful, interactive tour of the new ecological challenges facing our living environment. Energy, water, architecture and housing quality, mobility and waste management are just some of the issues that are making us rethink a more sustainable city and urban society.

Solar Impulse is the solar aeroplane that, under the impetus of explorer Bertrand Piccard, has laid the pragmatic foundations for reinventing the city of the future, and this journey is the perfect complement to the “Urgence climatique” exhibition. The “Ville de demain” is nothing more than a huge playground in which you can let yourself be guided by a compass that shows you the innovative approaches that can be taken to counter climate overheating and its impact on our urban environment..
