The Lights festival! will enchant you at Parc de La Villette

A great idea to illuminate this very special end of the year!

We will finally be able to find the magic of Christmas this year thanks to La Villette which promises to amaze us this December with a superb festival of lights. For one month, from December 2, 2021 to January 2, 2022, the Parc de la Villette welcomes you free of charge for a romantic, family or friends stroll in the heart of the park and along the canal. The Lumières! Festival invites you to discover several grandiose installations for a night-time stroll, full of poetry.

It’s time for tea, hot chocolate or, for the older ones, it’s time for mulled wine! Meet up in a few days at Parc de la Villette to admire the enchantment of the park illuminated by different artists.

Known for their magnificent fireworks, Group F is in charge of “From the light Flow” and will go along with the electronic landscapes of Scott Gibbons.
Another exceptional installation: “Constellations” created by the 1024 architecture tandem, is to be discovered by strolling along the canal. You will marvel at the water’s edge where bursts of moonlight and stars will form a grand galactic ballet.
Lélia Demoisy will also be back at Parc de la Villette to enchant us with the light circles hosted by trees in the park.
