Are you staying at the ReMIX hotel with family, friends or on a business trip?

Stop looking for where to eat. We have the perfect place to eat in any circumstance. Accessible directly from the reception of our hotel, you will have the chance to have a good time for a convivial meal with family, friends or colleagues at the Hippopotamus Paris La Villette. Our partner restaurant, specialist in meat since 1968, will delight all our guests. The French-style Steakhouse will delight you with its dishes cooked in a charcoal oven and its homemade sauces. They will welcome your children with pleasure, a children’s play area being specially dedicated to your kids. Are you not a fan of meat? Don’t worry, the Hippopotamus will cook up some vegetarian options for you.

If you are coming for a seminar at our hotel, we of course have the option of booking a table for you at the Hippopotamus. If you want more privacy to chat after a long day of seminars, we have the possibility to reserve a room for you at the restaurant (for groups of up to 130 people).

Open Monday to Sunday from 11:30 am to 11:00 pm, the restaurant, renovated in 2019, will welcome you with uninterrupted service in a warm, authentic and friendly atmosphere.

If you aren’t convinced yet, we have just got our hands on the recipe for their flagship dessert, chocolate mousse!

For the ingredients, you’ll need butter, egg whites, powdered sugar, liquid cream, and lots of dark or milk chocolate!

Start by bringing the butter and cream to a boil in a saucepan.

Off the heat, add the chocolate, mix with a whisk and set aside.

Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt, then add the sugar and mix again with a mixer until you get a bird’s eye

In the melted chocolate (at 35 ° C), incorporate a little white and mix with a whisk.

Pour the chocolate into the rest of the whites, then mix gently with a spatula.

Portion the mousse into small ramekins.

Film and set aside in the cold before eating!
